This page allows you to easily type Māori diacrtical letters without installing a Māori keyboard.
The modern Māori alphabet has 15 letters, namely, A, E, H, I, K, M, N, O, P, R, T, U, W and two digraphs, Ng and Wh. The five vowels have both short and long forms, with the long forms denoted by macrons marked above them.
Click on a character to copy and insert it into the text box. You can also use preset
keyboard shortcuts
to type a character.
